Moving day
Should I empty my dressers?
Light clothing can stay in sturdy dressers. Remove anything fragile, heavy or valuable.
What won't you move?
Propane, gasoline, paint, chemicals, ammunition, perishable food, plants on long drives, and personal documents or cash you should carry yourself.
Do I need to be there the whole time?
Someone with authority should be there at the start and the end to check the plan and sign off.
